Lyndon has provided scaffolding services free of charge for the renovation of Ruddington station junction box, on the historic Great Central Railway Nottingham.
Working closely with regular clients Carillion Rail and Network Rail, Lyndon sent three scaffolders to erect a simple tube and fitting scaffold – to facilitate access for the renovation of the historic junction box near Ruddington village.
Lyndon Regional Manager, Jon Cooke said: “It’s great to be involved in a heritage project like this and be able to help out GCRN in a small way, assisting them in the preservation of a much-loved British institution that many people get a lot of pleasure from. Carillion Rail and Network Rail were very pleased with what we did and our PTS-trained lads did a great, safe and professional job, as ever.”
Mike Fairburn, Chairman of the Board of Directors, GCRN Ltd said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank your team for their hard work during their visit to the GCRN. They really threw themselves into the work and did an excellent job far exceeding what we thought was possible in the time… their contribution to the day shouldn’t be underestimated or go unrecognised.”
