• New Royal Bank of Scotland head quarters in Gogarburn;
• Scottish Parliament buildings in Edinburgh;

Retail is one of the most demanding areas in which main contractors work. The complexity of the projects and the time constraints are legion. Lyndon Scaffolding Plc has been the sole scaffold supplier on a number of the most significant projects in recent years including:
• Touchwood Centre in Solihull;
• Mander Centre in Wolverhampton;
• Chapelfield shopping centre and residential complex in Norwich; and

Recent education projects include:
- Unite projects in Birmingham, Forge in Sheffield, and Pellet Street in Cardiff - a total of some 3,000 bedrooms all completed on time.
- In addition Lyndon is currently working on major new projects in Bristol at the University of West England (2,000 beds) and a high rise development in Leeds another Unite project.
Road and rail represents one of the most demanding areas a scaffolding contractor can operate in. Lyndon Scaffolding Plc is invigorated and inspired by these challenges. Recent projects include:
• Thelwall Viaduct. The volume of scaffold erected at anyone time made it one of the largest projects Lyndon has undertaken with 2,000 tonnes of scaffold tube equivalent to over 350 miles of scaffold tube held together by 500,000 fittings with 40 miles of scaffold boards forming the platforms.
• Tay Road Bridge. The entire scaffolding structure was suspended off the bridge using a specialized system (of which Lyndon is the largest UK stockholder) across the entire 1.8km span of the Tay Road Bridge. This highly complex project was delivered on time and to budget
Lyndon Scaffolding Plc made its name and reputation in the industrial sector. For many years Lyndon was the benchmark that the competition tried to reach. Although the market is now very much smaller Lyndon remains an important provider of services to customers such as Alstom and Esso.
