Health and Safety is at the heart of any professional scaffolding company’s strategy. It is an area that easily succumbs to marketing speak. Lyndon has identified the following key real world drivers behind the journey to safer scaffolding:
- Fully trained, full time, competent labour force. All scaffolders hold CISRS cards, a scheme that Lyndon has supported from its inception. Lyndon also only uses full time employees.
- In addition to the professional scaffolding qualifications Lyndon fully supports the bold initiatives championed by amongst others Bovis Lend Lease and Laing O’Rourkes. Lyndon has independently trained some 500 employees in these break through initiatives.
- In house safety department with 5 full time professional employees, three of our safety officers have extensive experience as scaffolders. The department is led by Steve Moore FIOSH, the Safety Director.
- Lyndon holds ISO9001 certification. A quality scaffold is a safe scaffold.
- Massive investment in quality materials. When all else fails the safety of every operative on site relies on the quality of the materials. Lyndon buys only the best .
