£10,800 Raised for Brain Tumour Research

Our Regional SHEQ Manager, Ronnie Cheetham and a group of dedicated others have raised £10,800 for the Brain Tumour Research charity.

The crew raised the money – with an additional donation from Lyndon Scaffolding – by cycling from Edinburgh to Burnley, 225 miles – IN ONE DAY – an incredible achievement.

Ronnie said:

“We were cycling for the good of others and our team of super duper geezers. Our challenge was pretty big: On the 5th July, we cycled from Edinburgh to Burnley, some 225 miles, with over 12,000 feet of climbing…in a day!

And following on from our lads’ recent incredible cycling charity challenge, here’s Team E2B proudly presenting a cheque for £10,790 to Brain Tumour Research last night. It was all made possible through the kindness of strangers and an additional donation from Lyndon Scaffolding PLC.”

This ride follows on from Ronnie & others’ Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle ride for Teenage Cancer Trust in September 2014.

Well done to all!
